Good spray paint match for black parts
Most bikes have matte black accents... I found a paint that sprays super smooth, matches great and doesn't have the chalk look of a flat:
Rustoleum 248938 "Engine Enamel", 500 Degree, Low Gloss Black @ Autozone. They sell Low and Semi gloss - the low is more matte.

I have been using it on everything, even non-temp items. Repainted the side engine (generator) cover on my ER6N - matches OE sprocket cover perfect.

looks good but how does it flex? since fairing flex when riding i'd be concerned about flaking off without flex agent.
