Well since my crash back at the start of August I've scoured eBay for months and no 2003 Blue B1H fairings have come up in that time. So i've decided that its going to have to be chinese ebay fairings (which actually seem to have a decent reputation).
My only issue is with the fact that I want to make sure I get the right colour for my B1H. As most will now the Blue from 2003 vs 2004 is slightly different with the latter being a darker shade. Its very difficult to tell by ebay pictures which is which and my whole reasoning for sticking with Blue was that although it would look awesome, the White i did want to get means spraying the tank and also a colour change with the DVLA. So if I cant get the right blue its still going to mean a tank spray and I may as well have gone with what I really want - White - and doesnt keep costs down (Which is the whole point).
So has anyone dealt with any of the chinese ebay fairing sellers before? How easy will it be to get them to give me more up to date pictures? Has anyone bought fairings for a 2003 blue that was spot on and has a link?
