Stomp grip pads will do the job well, and serve a good purpose.

Yeah.. I'm in the process of taking my flames off my bike.
I did the tail section and most of the mid fairings today.
That's what i'm going to do.. is get some tank pads.

Flames are under clear coat. Put some tank grips over them =0)
Mine was completely redone Hated those flames.

first pics of my 636. just bought it, its an 06, with 8495 miles on it, has a 2 bros dual silencer on it, fender eliminator, sporttech windscreen, and a few other goodies. 
the rim stripes are actually green, but reflective, so they show up yellow in the pics.  
better ones to come when i get it outside of the garage.
