I am going to purchase HIDs for my 06 636, i was wondering what bulb size i should go with, dont know much about that.
gonna get them from: HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning
gonna go with 35w and 8k i think. I would like to have both of my bulb be the same brightness, can stand the high/lo one brighter than another. Can someone help me get all set up on what i should get.
Thanks

Just depends on what you want to buy, if you want your main beam light which on mines I think is a H7 halogen bulb then you can order the H7 Xenon kit etc etc.
Personally I would try and get a projector but if you opt for just buying the bulb and sticking it in, then check the bulb you want to replace then buy the relevant one.

Bulb size is H7
Look at your headlight housing And you quickly see why the brightness will always be different...take a look at this thread(link below)...and watch the video inside So I Was Watching Salt.... So I Was Watching Salt....

There is no different bulb to buy, they are both H7, so yes you would buy two H7 bulbs and ballasts. It's a direct drop in.

Those covers are best done with a dremel. I need one but didn't feel like buying one. I have a cordless drill with a 1/2 bit and went cave man on it. wasn't the pretties outcome but once the rubber piece fit over it, it looks flawless.

Your thinking to much. The site I bought mine from isn't up no longer. All I did was put in year make and model abd what light I wanted. Maybe considerva different place. Very easy install you'll be anle to do it. Longest part for me was taking the left and right fairing off to hide the ballast. You'll love them.
