I just look and it helped a little, all i really need to know it if you HAVE to have blinkers or not, and my speedo doesnt work so will that be a problem. Someone told me motorcyclists could use arm turning signal instead or having side blinkers.

What I was told on last inspection.. That if a bike is custom built that the blinkers are not required.. On the other hand, if they came on the bike from the factory they are required... BUT... expect to get pulled over ALOT and ticketed!!! You will beat the ticket if you prove it's custom but a big PIA and court costs

Ahh i see. Well im kinda tossing the idea in my head of doing something really.....different.

I think i might get a race tail fairing, get a roll of LEDs, and make my own brake light and turn signals. It would take some work but it would be cool and very different, i think.

Finally got my TX inspection done.....WHAT A JOKE!!! He asked for my license and insurance then got in the computer. After maybe 2 minutes he went to my bike turned the key to look at the odometer and that was it.

He slapped an inspection sticker on it and $15 later I was out the door.

Hey man, I moved here last year. Still havent plated my Ninja but I did get it inspected. If you need help getting everything good to go let me know. Pretty much as long as you have lights, bright, turn signals, license plate light, some type of rear reflector ( I used the little round red reflective license plate bolts ) current insurance. I still need to also get my motorcycle endorsement on my drivers license this summer. Hit me up if you go out to ride, Im in Burleson, just south of Fort Worth.
