The 03-04 636 forks are very prone to snapping mid stoppie, my question is: Is it possible to put the 05-06 zx10 front end on a 03-04 636? What about the 636 front end on the zx10?

You would need to change out the triple clamps, but you would have to get the steering stem pressed off the lower of the 636 triple clamp and pressed onto the lower of the zx-10 triple clamp. If you are really wanting to do it, I have a set of 08 ZX-10R forks with AK-20's installed already I will sell you.

What exactly is the ak-20s? I have a 05 zx10 waiting to get rebuilt and I just put new forks on it, how difficult is it to pull the stem from the 10 and repress it on the 6?

They are Very high quality and totally change out the feel of the front end, and really smooths out the bumpy tracks down here in Texas. The stem, you would have to take them to a machine shop and ask them. You will need a press, and it will have to be perfectly pressed in exactly perpendicular.

Oic, sorry I'm not too familiar with the racing side of sport bikes. I just stunt. I would most likely have to buy the front wheel, calipers etc to make them work I'm guessing.

I think the axle is the same on the 03/04 636 as well, but not 100% sure. If you have an 05+ 6R, then you can use the same brakes, calipers, wheel, but might need a different fender.
