What is this winter that you speak of. I only know 2 seasons here. "Hot and Muggy" and "Sometimes not hot and maybe even chilly at times". The 2nd one only lasts 3 weeks.

I love to ride my ninja in the winter but only when the snow hits 5ft deep, seriously who is gonna choose the winter

It has to be summer as im in England and we get about 2 warm weeks a year, the tyres become awsome and stick to the road like glue plus i dont get frostbite

For some places, winter involves mid to low 40*F or 5*C for those on metric, and rain. It's entirely plausible to ride in the winter, I do so all the time. The only time I don't is when Washington State gets their 1-week of 2" snowfall that shuts down the entire Puget Sound area.

I still prefer late spring to early Fall though. Yeah I can get around by bike in any season but I'm not comfortable pushing the limits of grip in the cold, plus that time is when the mountain roads are opened up.
