No, you do not have to take off the whole nose. Just loosen the black plastic underneath. Remove the screw and plastic push rivets in the centre black plastic portion. Pull back and down to drop the front of it, reach in, twist the socket to remove it and then swap the bulb. Takes about 5 minutes.

cdn ws6 top man 5 mins and the new led bulb is in looks better than that shit yellow one..
