Hey guys I had a yoshimura Ti trc slip on on my 2011 zx6r and I thought it was to quiet and pretty long according to some of the other members so I was looking for alternatives and oldninjadude suggested I cut it. I been thinking about doing it but was too lazy to get my hands dirty.so I finally took the plunge and started hacking away.
It was a major pain to do and faced many obstacles along the way. At one point I wanted to throw it away and buy a new slipon.but after 2 days of work I think it came out great cut off about 4 inches and love the sound here are the pics:

I cut like 4inches and took off like half of the packing.
Could be a little louder but I'm happy with it. I think the only way to get louder with a yoshi is to get a link pipe and get rid of the pre muffler, but I'm not willing to go on that 4 month wait list for pinebox

I did it this way Cus i wanted to keep the yoshi logo and the core was welded on the back

Kind of off topic but, I didn't think my yoshi was very loud either. Then I had someone ride it up and down the street today and damn is it loud. |
