Good evening,
What do you guys recommend for this? I want the jean pants look not the tight racing look but I also want protection. Is there some sort of under armor or real good pants? I did find this under armor sort of thing. 2012 Klim Tactical Shorts | KneeDraggers |

There are many mesh/textile pants that are designed to go over jeans. They are typically fitted with knee armor and provide decent protection

Here in the UK our shops sell something called Kevlar Jeans.
They just look like jeans but on the inside of them they are made of Kevlar which is good protection against heat when you fall.
Also the more you pay you can get pieces of armour in them too without compromising the look of the jeans.

I have these, very comfortable and the feel a lot more sturdy than regular jeans. Shift Lowdown Jeans - $59.95 closeout special! In stock NOW! :: MSRP: $79.95
The link is for the low-down jeans, they have more of a loose fit. I also have the torque jeans also from shift. They are more of the "nuthugger" variety.

Whatever jeans you get you're going to have very little protection in the knee area, which can be a very critical mistake. IMO, get the jeans sort of loose fitting in the legs and strap on a set of these underneath:
I have the same pair of Thor Knee Guards that I picked up for my <10 minute ride to work that I wear under my jeans since I don't think it's worth the time to throw on my overpants. Best part about them is motorcyclegear.com sells them for under $15, which has made me question why I waited so long to get them in the first place. |

Me & another rider on here both have these in black. I plan on posting in the "pic wearing your gear" section once I leave work. They don't even look like riding jeans since most show the seams & stitching plus the pockets have flaps that button. I hated when I wore jeans & realized I left my wallet in my back pocket while I was on the freeway & scared it was gonna fall out over a bump. IF I'm wearing jeans I always have my shin/knee gaurds on.
My buddy just went down last week going about 25mph getting on an onramp... |

I have a couple pairs of the Cortech DSX jeans. They have leather lining in the seat and hips, and lining and impact pads in the knees. Cortech Dsx Denim Pants | KneeDraggers |

Knee Protection under jeans? Hmm never thought about that. What's everybody running if anything? The reviews on the Thor product look pretty good.

The reviews on the Thor product look pretty good. | Some thoughts on the Thor knee guards, there appears to be a little bit of a break-in period with the velcro straps. At first the upper strap would sort of dig into the back part of the knee but now it doesn't seem to be an issue, and I put it in the same spot (or try to) each time. Other than that, color me one happy Thor customer.

+1 on knee protection, I've been round a roundabout wearing jogging bottoms while scraping my knox knee protector.
