I have the 1. Bridgestone Battleaxe Bt016 tires. they seem to have great grip and heat up fast.

Although in the rain I feel very nervous but that could just be my inexperience.

Thanks guys! I will let you know what happens when i install the S-20's on, hope theyre good, Motorcycle superstore had them for pretty cheap (I got a front and rear for a total of under $200) so i chanced it and went with that.
Wost case scenario if i hate them i will change it next season to Michelin pilot power 2ct

i was going to get a set, but the shop couldnt get them for some reason. i went ahead and got an 016 Pro put on the front since my rear 016 is still good. i liked the original 016's, but the front wore REALLY fast and really weird as well (middle still good, but the sides wore out VERY fast and the tire had a triangular shape and the sides were down to the wear bars).

i heard this was a common problem with the original 016. i didnt even ride too hard on it, although most of my riding was in the mountains. i was looking forward to the s20s, but i can wait until i wear out the rear and decide to get new tires.

2008 ZX-6R, jumper mod, Yoshi RS-5 full exhaust, K&N air filter, PCIII, -1/+2.

These tires are getting some pretty good reviews so far. I'm running Q2s and love them but damn under $200! Worth a look

The S20 replaces the BT-016 Pro and obviously the Pro replaced the BT-016. I have the Pro's on my bike and love them. Have about 1800 miles on them and no complaints. I chose the Pro's because they're supposed to be somewhat sticky but also last 5 - 7k which is good for a SS tire.

The S20 should just do all of those things better.

Nice....i cant wait, they just shipped out from motrocyclesuperstore, I will keep you guys posted when i install them and let you know how they are, so excited cant wait! especially since the tires i had on were dry rotted with a date from 2005 lol, and they had little tread left, and the rear and front were diff brands, this is gonna be such a huge difference

Just take it easy. No, they don't need to be scrubbed in or anything... But the bike will DROP into turns until you get used to the tires.

Josh, did you have the BT-016 that came with the bike? If so, that's why you did not like them. The BT-016 Pro BattleAxe are a different animal. They are harder in the middle for longevity and have a sticky compound on the edges for grip. They are also great in the rain, and I'm talking Florida evening sky opening up rain. I hated the original BattleAxe's also.
