Your air filter won't make the bike die at idle ... if that were the case, it would mean there would be something blocking air flow and the bike would starve for air.

an aftermarket filter won't fix the issue.

My DFI light came on at 400km's, ran the cluster diagnostic check. Code 34 appears, exhaust flap servomotor fault. Runs fine, but start up it hesitates like crazy.

Too bad you are having issues. I have had mine since Dec and I have not had any issues. In fact, I have tracked it a few times and will be heading back on the 18th. The bike is a track weapon. I hope you get things sorted.

Mine did the 3rd times the charm start...but I attributed it to low fuel. Hasn't done it since.

So I brought the bike in for Kawasaki to look at. Told them code 34 was on the cluster. The tech took the seat off and right away said the exhaust flap sensor was bad. New servomotor ordered from Japan.

Now to play the waiting game and have this damn DFI light turned off lol.

New servo motor installed, took the tech 2 hours to figure out how to turn off the DFI light lol. Apparently the software he had at the dealer didn't want to communicate with my bike.

Runs like it did from day 1, starts up the first crank, runs smooth.

Anyone with the cold start issues have an update? My bike would start first try 80% of the time and second 20%. Now at just shy of 600 miles today it died like 4 times before I held the throttle a bit to get it started.

Taking it in for the first service in a few days, wondered if anyone had found a solution or problem to mention when I go rather than just, "lots of other people on the internet said this too."

N to 1st i have the same problem of not finding the gear, but i give it a tiny push forward or back and it gos in fine,,

I've been having this knock issue since day one riding my 2013 636 .. i'm going to be taking it in for my first service a week from this upcoming monday,

I'm going to let the dealer know my issue, and we'll see if they can figure it out.
