Kawasaki trade in program??

Hey guys as many of y'all know I recently decided to trade in my ninja 1000 for a gsxr 750. I was originally looking at the zx10r until Suzuki came out with their summer promotions of 0% apr for 60 months along with either a free yoshi slip on or $400 dollars cash back!

I put down a deposit for the gsxr..

Now Kawasaki has come out with their summer sales event!

Before I feel like I jumped the gun and change my mind again, can anyone enlighten me as to what the Kawasaki trade in program is? It's one of the promotions they are running right now.

I know powergroove is a sales guy, if anyone can help a brotha out that would be appreciated !

..on a side note I will be back in good ol' AMERICA within a week or so! Can't wait to get back on 2 wheels again! I hope this is my only experience with Afghanistan cuz this place sucks!

I think specials like that really vary dealer by dealer. I didn't see any 0% APR or trade in program on Kawis website. I did check out the dealer you and I had been talking about though.

Check it out: 3 grand off a new 2012 zx10r Kawasaki 2012 Ninja ZX-10R

Plus: 0% APR or $1500 cash back
Promotion from Sport Cycles

I did see the trade in program and that the zx10r is on the list of models. Dunno how that works though, pretty sure that's dealer specific. Give em a call when you have a chance and take away that deposit from that butterface gixxer

You just want to ride the zx10r huh?

It's a good deal.. If its the same or better deal I'm looking at with the gsxr 750 I'll definitely go with the Kawi! (Zx10r)

Lol nah I'll stick with mine so I don't bust up anyone else's ride for right now At first blush, it looks like a better deal. That is, if the promotions are stackable. If you can get $3k off, and 0% or $1500 off that would be pretty damn attractive.

I'm pretty sure I could.. Only problem is that the 0% is for 36 months, so the payments are gonna be a lil higher

We were looking at putting a couple thousand down.. Depending on how the trade in program works it might put us at a pretty good payment for 36 months.. We were looking at a 125-150 a month payment for the 750.. I don't think it would be too much more for the Kawi and it could be paid off 2 years earlier.

Maybe powergroove or someone on the west coast affiliated with a dealer will chime in soon about it

Found some info on the trade in program.. Well, an older one I guess

But apparently I guess they add a cash amount to your trade in on a newer Kawasaki. The one I found was from 2011 and the amount they would give you towards your trade in was based on the model you were trading in and the model you were buying.

If anyone has any updated information I'd appreciate the insight though.
