Bump. Did either of you ever get nice brackets made to use with the TRS H1 Mini's?

I have the drawing from Texas, haven't had much time this year to order the kit and do the work since my work/school has been crazy. My friend should have no problem machining the bracket though. He recently did a bunch of specialized Ducati gears for a local Ducati expert who also builds race bikes.

Pushing this project until next winter. I always wait until black Friday sale at TRS to purchase my stuff.

Has anyone figured out a cheaper solution for the brackets? I think I am going to go for the BI-XENON: MORIMOTO FX-R 3.0 instead.

the Morimoto FX-R are very large and won't fit inside the OEM headlight. I highly suggest not going this route.

Bracket can easily be cut out and used from the supplied template. should be cost-effective enough without having to purchase the bkmoto kit. The new Morimoto mini are a great setup to have in a bike, and are also bixenon, and will fit the OEM housings. I don't see why you would need anything else. TRS even sells a motorcycle kit now which will give you the correct adaptors and harness to make it work properly.

Cut out of what? Aluminum? Sheet Metal? Is that what people have done? I'm still curious about this myself...and the template on page 2 is the exact size?

Texas emailed me the original scan; you can ask him to do the same. I would use any metal that doesn't rust, aluminium if you'd like (but paint it) or galvanized steel or even stainless if you want to get fancy. Whatever your heart desires, at a thickness in which the chosen material would be rigid enough to hold the weight of the projectors.

Only tip I have for opening the headlights is just to take your time. Do it in one hour increments or you will get rather tired of doing it.

You can replace the halogen projectors with Bi-Xenon projectors. That's what we are doing, but you need the bracket that holds the projector. You will also have to remove the inner shield that has the reflective chrome. You can leave it in there, but you can't use the shrouds. So your option is to either use the shroud and leave the chrome reflective inner shield or you can use your shrouds, but have to take out the inner chrome shield.

Here are the factory projectors out of the headlight housing. The mount I am speaking of has the three plastic adjustment receivers that the adjuster bolts go through to adjust your projectors.

Here's a picture of the inner chrome shield that will need to be removed if you are using the shrouds.

Nooooo.....can't see the images anymore

I know that I'm reviving an old thread, but where did you mount the ballasts and boxes for everything? I'm trying to figure it all out now on my install.
