Starting a StreetFighter Build?

Wanting to start a street-fighter build but am having issues figuring out a headlight to go with due to the RAM air intake being visible not being desirable yet covering it is obviously not a good idea.
And also the relocation of the dash cluster as iv seen a few builds but they always have the dash unmoved which looks severely out of place in my mind or gone all together but i cant get away with that where i live.
Haven't even stripped the bike down as of yet as i want to be sure about what i'm doing before i do, have done a few bikes in the past but they were naturally aspirated or oil cooled,
and i would just go for a standard naked motorcycles headlight unit but i don't want it to just look like a stock naked bike and those headlights tend to stick out pretty far due to the intake.

my bike is an 05 636 D6
ps if this is under the wrong forum category let me know.

To be more specific, i want some opinions or advice on headlight choices and dashboard solutions, or even to streetfighter it at all / the benefits and downsides of such a project.

Streetfighter is more work than people think. Repairing to stock would be easier/faster, and I had great luck with Chinese fairings.

That said, a streetfighter is a great look when you pull it off. This guy has one of the best. The latest blue iteration can be seen in one of the 6OTM threads.

2002 ZX-6R Streetfighter

I think he said it was an old Z1000 headlight.

You got it commie 1st gen Z1K light.

CHEM I think the only you'll be able to get a light close to front of the bike is by cutting back some of the ram air hole on the frame.

If you do that though you won't to put the fairing stay/ ram air back on, but it would definitely allow the light to be brought in closer to the frame and be a much cleaner look.

Here's some pics of mine. I'll look for some 05 fighters cause there are some out there

Thanks for all the advice and pictures guys, i think i know where I'm going to go with my build now.

Great thinking Predator somehow i didn't even contemplate removing the front of the ram intake!
I recon that will be the route i go down, I'm looking to use a genuine hi/lo headlight i have from an old 250 Ktm,
being a dirt bike headlight it'll sit very flush against the forks so will hopefully achieve the look I'm going for.
And iv got a universal road trail dash unit sitting in a box here so i might look into getting that wired in some how
just so i can get a more accurate speedo reading than my gps on my phone and just lose the stock dashboard all together.

I've got a 2k 6r that was totaled, stunted, un-totaled, fightered, and a general test mule for my ideas!
This is my latest for the front. I found some LED driving lights I liked and welded some brackets to 2"steel pipe that slips over the forks. The windscreen is what's left of my 03s stock screen. I just got back on the forums and am planning on starting a thread for my bike.
Fighters are an addiction... Warning you in advance! Lol

the real question is; is that a real n2o set up? also sweet bike, looks great, really unique headlight setup.

No one can tell you whether to make your bike into a streetfighter except you.

A well done streetfighter is a great way to show off your style, creativity, and vision. Unfortunately (to me), 99% of all streetfighters look like someone crashed a bike, couldn't afford new fairings, and then threw a custom headlight on it.

I guess what I am saying is if you are going to do it, do it right.

No, that's the overflow can....used a Seafoam bottle...much better than the Mountain Dew bottle I had on there at first!

Sweet ride. Is the bottom fairing and tail custom 3d printed? Or aftermarket?
