Chinese injection molded plastic vs take off oem plastic availability???

Ok guys I know I haven't been on here long but I'm at the point where I'm ready to buy new plastics for the bike I'm rebuilding... I'd like to get ahold of some oem plastics someone took off for there track bike.. But I'm not totally against the idea of Chinese injection molded fairings. All I really need is the nose fairings and both upper and lower side fairings and a few other small parts what do you guys think I should do?? All your input would be appreciated cause my bike is ugly as fuck at the moment get a lot of weird looks lol

What kind of riding do you do? If your just street riding, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the Chinese plastic. You're going to have to work to get Em to fit, and up close (under pretty close inspection) you're gonna know their less expensive than oem or some of the composite stuff. All depends on what you want.

...... I will tell you this... Don't worry for two seconds about the looks you get... Enjoy your baby, fuck what pedestrians and know it all windshield warriors think!

Thanks man! Is eBay the best place to buy aftermarket plastic or is there a better way to do it? Cause I hate waiting that long to get them in a month and a half!

Ships from California... Cheap american plastics... no waiting... You're quite welcome!!

EDIT****
From their website

Here's a thread on my rebuild including fairings from ABSfairings.com and some info on what to expect.

Finished the rebuild!

Fairings are still holding up well!

How long did it take you to get your fairings?

About 3 weeks, would have been faster if they didn't mess up and add the monster logos when I asked them not to. They ended up redoing the sides so that pushed it back a few days.

I hear you on that one. The 09-12 model is my favorite 6R. Looks so clean and pit together imo. That's why I swapped a tail on mine
