Was thing about this today while reading up on what to expect at your first track day (granted this would be my second) but what items should I bring besides for my bike and gear?

My list consists of:
Chair, cooler, food/water...
What are thoughts on gas tank? canopy? Tent? Mattress? Tool? Do I need that stuff? Also is there anything I'm missing.

Note: plan on doing a weekend sat&sun is there a must have list?

Most of that stuff is optional and up to you. Really depends on what you want, what your plan is, especially regarding where you're staying the night, etc.

I've seen people go to the track from simply riding the bike to the track with a backpack on which included some water bottles and food, to people that showed up with 40-ft trailers, or a whole 18-wheeler full of stuff.

What car do you drive? I bring an air mattress and sleep in the back of my wagon. Tent is a good idea for sleeping and air mattresses are neat cause they don't take up a lot of room.
Canopy is a good idea if the track doesn't offer a paddock, unless you want to sit around in the sun. Or find someone to pit with!! That way you don't have to bring as much.
Tools are always a good idea, don't want to ruin a whole day cause of a minor issue on Sat morning.
Are you using tire warmers? If so you'd need power, again easier to pit with someone.

Don't forget food and water!!

You should absolutely bring a spare gas can and ~5 gal of gas. On a typical track day if I do all sessions I can burn through about 9 gallons so fill up your tank on the bike and bring a spare 5. I just toss whatever remains in the can into my tow vehicle as I am leaving so that I always have fresh gas for the bike.

VP fuel jugs are the best, you want a molded top not the cut top, the cut tops don't seal as well but they're usually like 15 bucks cheaper.

EZ up brand is the best for the canopy but they're not cheap. They're way lighter and go up easier than the cheap ones though. Also more compact.

Ohhhhhhhh!

Then I don't really know. I think some people that do vinyl decal work can make them. I think Chris Kruzel from DrippinWet can make them. You'd have to contact him directly because I doubt they'd be listed anywhere but I'm pretty sure that's where my friend got his for his RSV4.

If its a track dedicated bike why bother with the SPs and not get the SCs? As far as the Q3s there are 3 or 4 tires that are in the same ballpark in intended use (Street/track), performance, and price. We have an ongoing tire thread here where pretty much everyone has posted about their experience with tires and comparisons for street, track, and racing. You should probably check that out.

I don't have warmers and I don't think I'm fast enough for a completely track oriented ture

Yeah you don't need race tires. However I can't convince you the Q3's are better unless you want me to straight up lie to you

I will say they are the better bang for the buck. They will last longer and are probably cheaper. If I was you I'd go with them. The Q3 won't have quite as much grip as the SP...buuuuuut, they have more grip than you have skill at this point. I mean no offense with that, we've all been there. I've seen people ride in the advance group at track days on Q3's and they handle just fine. You won't be outriding either of those 2 tires anytime soon.
