Leo Vince exhasut for 2015 ZX-6R

Just in case anyone was wondering how the Leo Vince slip on sounds. Here is a video on my you tube channel of the sound of the pipe. It's quite tame compared to your typical M4GP or Two bros or Graves but i quite like it. The build quality and welds on it are just absolutely superb. I will be doing a linkage pipe to remove the pre-box muffler and then its off to the dyno in hopes to clean up the power band a bit and maybe make a few ponys too. But here is the sound with the cat and pre-box muffler still on. Deleting that pre-box muffler will give it a more throaty sound but it does sound really nice in my opinion compared to stock.

Yeah... 13vxx

A play on words, or words on play
Last chapter, verse in the final act
Words well scripted, each sentence choking
Inaudible gag, blanket which suffocates
As you eat another's words
Malnourished, you starve.

Textile jacket = low speed crash worthy. Leather jacket = high speed crash worthy. Be smart and buy some quality gear, you never know when you are gonna need it.

On a side topic, that blaster x taillight looks interesting, any experience with it? Good excuse to delete the ugly turn signals.

Think I have the TST one. Definitely cleans up the rear. Highly recommend them...

Thanks for posting up, have been looking at exhausts but want a quiet one that sounds good (I know someone is going to tell me good isn't quiet). Had a 13 ZX6R with a Two Brothers black. Sounded great when wound up, sounded great at idle but way too loud. It was really cool going up thru the gears but everyone within a couple of miles knew what I was doing. Bought the insert which got it to just really loud. When I rode into the parking deck at work amongst all the corporate types it was fun. Security guard told me it was the loudest bike he had heard in there. Thinking Yoshimura or Leo Vince now that I've heard yours. I have a sound committee (wife) who has to approve all motorcycle sounds from my house. Since my CBR and scooter are parked in front of her car it's good for me to follow her suggestions. :-)

Akro exhaust is just a real decent sound. Not too loud but once opened up sounds amazing. Try to get the racing model without the flap. I then added a black widow muffler delete pipe and the bike sounds beautiful and most of all not annoying.

Thanks!

Yes Pinebox mid pipe is coming this upcoming season. Then its off to the dyno. As far as gear goes. I am getting a full kangaroo leather racing suit and probably a older zx6r for track use. This is my baby. I wont track her. But for my casual riding my textile does just fine. No need for fancy stuff for basic back road cruising though.

What suit are you getting? I know it's your baby but aren't you at least tempted to do a couple of track days? That's what these things were designed for. Riding on the road is boring...

Suit

The suit is a custom made Tom Sykes replica suit There are all sorts of options i can choose. I'm just going with the best of the best options. Like instead of cowhide leather i'm doing the kangaroo leather option which is like a 600-800 dollar option alone if i remember correctly. And am i tempted? Not really haha. I have a lot of self control. Kawasaki only has one 30th anniversary! This bike is way too pretty to risk it like that. I baby the hell out of her. I certainly ride it but not at a track. State Farm doesn't cover that. And i'd rather buy a cheap ZX6R for track only so i can just throw on track fairings and not worry about signals or any of that stuff to tape up. I would love a Drag dedicated ZX14R too but at 21 years old it's just not realistic to have all these toys. This time next year ill have 40% down saved on a house and i hope to start having a family no later than 25 years old. (21 now) So i'm just sticking with the 600s for now. I would LOVE an H2 and/or a ZX-10R which i can afford both easily but it's just not financially smart. Those will come later in life. I love the hell out of my 636. It is such a great bike all around. My insurance is like 570 a YEAR with max coverage across the board and a 500 dollar deductible. (My mom works for state farm so i get quite the hookup) I really wanna house and probably a truck here in the next few months. My car needs replacing and working in construction a Truck is a good thing to have and is also a partial tax write off as a work vehicle. I will keep everyone updated. I'm certainly no pro at a track so i will love to have some pointers! So for now it's just the 636 and possibly a cheap ZX6R for track only. I'll have to see what happens. Who knows i could get hit by a bus tomorrow XD Just don't tell my girlfriend i said that. I'll probably get "the look" and she'll slap me XD
