Anything is possible. It is not going to be an easy bolt and go item though. Id suggest going with your year range to make it an easy bolt on. OTherwise you may have to do some fabricating.

I really want to bring this back to life... as I've been searching for a while now.

05-06 parts are definitely more difficult to come by.. 03-04 / 07+ are everywhere! clist, ebay, web stores...

Being that this post is 2 yrs. old... would anyone have anything to add to this info.. ?

Myself, having stock exhaust, I'm not even sure where a slip-on brackets would bolt on- but I'm sure it'd be a few less bolts than the stock muffler...?

Or- if the inlet diameter is the same... for 05+ .. 2.5" I think ? maybe..? Then really all one would need to do is purchase/fab a sufficient mounting bracket if they don't line up.. right? Seems easy.... but for some reason I'm not hearing of people interchanging years as much as i thought I would...

appreciated...thanks

Dude.....seriously.....you can't be looking worth a flip.
Parts for the '05-'06 ninja are plentiful.
What exactly, are you looking for?

I'm finding parts.. just not as common as other years. Ebay is primarily 07-newer .. but I'm not saying they don't have other years...

There's just more of price variety on other years. Realistically- the cheapest slip-on I can find right now for 05-06..is the Scorpion polished .. Shipped for around $320 .. Probably 58cycle.com, And I'm sure that's reasonable... But, There are so many other brands for less.. just not an abundance of 05-06's..

I'm really just curious about interchangability(?), and how many people have successfully done it or seen it done....

Ive seen a few posts on various forums pointing out the Boz Bros slip-ons to be great quality but inexpensive (around $150).. and again Ebay has hella BozBros listings - narrowed down to zx6r = only 03-04's...

Hi,
I am interested in the same topic.
I own 07 ZX6 and need to replace the exhaust. I have found a full system Termignoni for 05-06 model.
Is it going to suit my bike?
Help
Thanks in advance
