Piston shim? LOL!

A play on words, or words on play
Last chapter, verse in the final act
Words well scripted, each sentence choking
Inaudible gag, blanket which suffocates
As you eat another's words
Malnourished, you starve.

Finally had some time after vacation and getting caught up on work to do a little port clean up. Still looks a little rough but trying to finish up this weekend. The exhaust ports had been pretty nasty. I was so happy I decided to venture into this project due to I found a valve keeper was 35% split , yuup she was getting ready to drop a valve.

Well soon, balancing rods tomorrow. I just got back from Menards so I can build my connecting rod holder to weigh big and little ends. My new port polish kit came in today to Jegs to finish up port and bowl blends. Then off to polish them. I weighed each piston ( old ones ) tonight. 208 grams each. Not off by even a gram. I hope the rods turn out the same tomorrow. I will post some pics of the new jig I will build tomorrow to weight big and little ends. Lots of small tedious stuff but well worth the fun.

Cylinder head is turning out great. Parts will soon be ordered to reassemble it. One part down only a few to go.
