Austin Racing exhaust

I just got notified by motomummy (us importer of austin racing) that my exhaust arrived and has now been shipped to me. Should be in by the end of the week. I think I'll have time to install it Saturday or Sunday. I'll keep y'all posted.

The original owner of the bike put on a m4 street slayer, which I do like but I wanna run some different. Not your run of the mill shit. That being said, I've been to m4's production facility and headquarters in Dallas.. great people and company.

here's my 2015 zx6 anniversary edition

Haven't seen a zx6r with a austin on it. To be honest, the only 600cc bike that I've seen in person with one is a new Daytona 675r around woodside some time ago. They are pretty nice, though a bit loud. But your probably use to it with your M4.

Yah I don't mind loudness, actually prefer it on the street as a safety factor. I have custom molded ear plugs that I wear at the track and on longer street rides so it doesn't bother me .

Is you profile pic out at t-hill or chuckwalla? I really like chuckwalla, go down a few times each winter to race. I'd like to do a trackday out at t hill. Lived in sac for a summer. Forest hill was where I first learned to "rip it"

Yep! I waa back in Dallas for thanksgiving break one year and I remember seeing their phone number in roadracing world magazine as a 972, Dallas area code, looked em up and sure enough. I went to the warehouse and talked to the r and d guys about making a custom ninja 250 exhaust to use the go growler with their headers for the full system. I met the president/CEO and he gave me a sweet tour of their facility!

Exhaust is on!!

install was a little more of a pain than i anticipated just due to bolts with a shit ton of loctite from the factory but got er done up nice. Exhaust sounds great, looks even better.

The chicken strips arent my doing. Ive put maybe 25 miles on the bike since ive owned it. Previous owner never cranked her over it looks like. New Pierlli corsa IIIs going on.

video of the exhuast, doesnt do it the full justice tho.. not sure how to embed video
