My experience on the road today..

This got me heated pretty bad earlier. I was heading up route 301 on my bike just cruising. And a car full of teenagers got up next to me and three of the passengers were about half way out of their windows trying to get me to pull a wheelie. I shook my head no. Then after a few times of that they finally figured out what I was saying they started flicking me off and yelling curse words at me. Naturally I didn't acknowledge this and I slowed up on the throttle to get away from them a bit. Then went on for about 2-3 miles before they finally turned off.

Anyone else experience this shit before? I've been riding for 6 years and this is the most ignorant thing I've seen so far(besides getting cut off).

Haha I deal with enough of them at my job. I just want to relax on my bike :BigGrin

This. Is what happens when you have Monster decals on a Kawasaki :laugh
lol hey I pulled those prepubescent things off!

OP,

Later in the season they'll find some Yahoo that'll be willing to play. More fool the both of them.
Better them than me. There's plenty of people in my area who wouldn't thing twice about it. Most likely why I hear stuff from people all the time lol.

I have seen a bunch of crazy shit on 301. About a month ago I saw a group of maybe 6 riders headed up 301 doing wheelies and all that crazy dumb shit wearing nothing more than wife beaters etc. Yesterday I had my girl on the back of my ZX headed down route 2 and 4 to Chesapeake Beach to my family beach house. Rosie O'Donnel looking mother fucker flicked her lit cigarette out of her sun roof which hit my helmet and proceeded to go down my girlfriends jacket. She tapped to pull over immediately to get it out. At that moment it took a lot for me not to want to pass her and and punch her mirror off. The fact I had a bottle of Knobs Creek waiting for me so close calmed me down.

Yeah man it's crazy around here with that crap. I drive 210 to head to work and I see guys flying between cars and riding wheelies all the time. I've seen them run from the cops a few times. I just don't get it lol. As for the lady.. it seems like people don't really give a shit. I can't tell you how many times people have washed their windows with me behind them and got washer fluid all over me lol.

I on occasion cross over the Harry Nice bridge from VA, on 301 -- 301 in MD, is such a lame area to be on a bike (or in a car)..... I've driven up to Baltimore more than once, into DC quite a few times..... might as well be a surface street instead of a highway. Congested, inner city driving. Doesn't surprise me that there are a lot of punk riders misbehaving in that environment.

Sounds like we're in the same area. I'm about 10 minutes across the Harry Nice. Unless I have to go too La Plata for something, I'll always head across the bridge to Dalgren or Fredricksburg for a ride first.

South of that bridge on the VA side, the experience is much different. My main stomping grounds are from Dahlgren to Bowling Green, and points as much as 30 miles South of 301 along that line. Lots of back country riding, with very (extremely) light traffic -- I have yet to see an Amish cart. :)
Anticlimax... someone asked you to do a wheelie, you didn't and they flipped you off. The end.
Next time chuck a wheelie and everyone wins, plus it'll be a (mildly) more interesting story
That's not really me.. It's all good when you're not on a public road around other vehicles. That's why sport bikes have the reputation they do. And more than likely people around you just think you're ignorant for riding like that.
