Throttle Tube

So I read a bunch of threads about changing the throttle tube. Will probably get the R6 tube that many have spoke of. I assume that since the RPMS stay the same in less of a turn that the mapping wouldn't change. Correct?

If you can't win an argument, correct their grammar instead.

Correct, the throttle tube doesn't affect the mapping. You can get the throttle tube here: Yamaha 2C0262400000 Grip Assembly

Do it. Sprocket change at same time for extra excitement.
ZedExMuse and Addhoc like this.

A play on words, or words on play
Last chapter, verse in the final act
Words well scripted, each sentence choking
Inaudible gag, blanket which suffocates
As you eat another's words
Malnourished, you starve.

Sproket changes are the best bang for the buck. I told my friend who owns a Cbr1000 to do a sprocket change -1 at least. He waited months to do it. When he finally did the change, he was SHOCKED. He is a Big Boy 250lbs and he needs all the punch he can get even with a 1000. Now he tells the WORLD.

Best of all, if you go for the sprocket change you will not need a speedo healer for 13+ zx6r's since speed is taken at the wheels.

I would concur, but might add CPU reflash (do yourself a favour and opt for the $20 extra to delete EVSM & PAIR: $75 + $20 = $95); PC V remap on dyno; as well as the previously mentioned 520 chain rings.

Tap Hard Racing for deals on PC V & chain rings; and CPU reflash from Schnitz Racing:

Thanks for heads up. As my mods are not listed in my signature, I have already covered the sprockets, Got a reflash of the ECU, while it was on the dyno for the zfi. among other things. Just wanted to know about the throttle tube, as it was just a small mod to make it easier on the wrist.

I did the throttle tube from an R6 and didn't notice much of a difference. I would say it is not a wrist saver by any means. But I guess every little bit helps.
