Help asap 07 zx6r questions

I'm looking at buying an 07 zx6r idk how to attach pictures but it has an akrapovic slip on exhaust and good condition its been dropped but the frame slider took the damage and some plastic got scratched. I just dropped by to check it out and after it warmed up I had the owner rev it up for me. A few seconds later the engine started idling a lot higher for a bit what is up with that? The bike is clean but it has no title. I live in Texas and was wondering how much it would cost to obtain a title? He's asking $2500 but I dont think that's a fair price. Somebody please answer about the idling and the cost of the title I need to make a decision soon.

Calm down man!! Calm down!!
Usually if the engine is cold, it will auto-rev higher for about a minute to warm itself up. It should go back down to regular idle speed after that.

Whats the mileage? Any other issues? Frame ok? Clean title?

Is this your first bike?

Hello and thats somewhat a Hi. '

Try one in the new remembers section and make it official.
Yes, how many miles. Any mod's.
No other damage besides slider.

After the bike warmed up, as in got to temp and the fan kicked in. Did the idle go down.
Try blipping the throttle?
Depending on miles, overall condition and it's spring. $2,500 might not be bad. But miles will make a huge difference.

Title, in my state if no title. It's around $150 to jump the hoops to get one if you can't get the previous owner to request replacement one. (best option)
If they can't get you one. CarFax and call to local police. Make sure it's NOT stolen.

There's a device in your pocket that you can access every piece of information ever known to man and you can't figure out to tell how much a bike is worth?

He's asking $2500?

You sure it isn't a ZZR 600? Because unless it's a piece of shit a 2007 ZX-6R should sell for $3500-$4000 all day long on the private market. Maybe more depending on condition.

That's all I'm going to give you. Do yourself a favor and research what the hell you're buying before you make a decision on the fly. You should have been here weeks ago introducing yourself and asking for advice. Chances are, the money was burning a hole in your pocket and you've already bought the bike.

Fuck I sound like my old man....

Ok figuring out how to use the forums. The idle did go back down. It has 18k miles everything seems to work fine just the idle that bothered me. There is absolutely no way to contact the original owner with the title. Bike is not stolen I checked VIN.

Thanks for the advice. It is a 2007 zx6r. I can think straight. I already screwed up when I bought my POS Honda CBR 929rr. It didn't even have gauges and the original motor and I didn't know until after I bought it. Someone put a 954rr engine in it. Had it since June 2015 just sold it last week and took a $1500 loss not that big of a deal I just want to make sure I'm not buying a so called "cursed bike" like the r6 ravens. Anyways the reason I'm asking these questions is because the bike went up for sale and I'm sure he will sell it quickly so I wanted to come on a forum. BUT I do want to get a title and I'm not going to waste my time if the title is going to cost me $500+. Also the bike needs new tires for sure thats aleady $300+ and then its gonna need new fork seals. All I want is a sick 07 zx6r but not gonna waste time trying to get a title.

No not my first bike just wanting to check if these bikes have any issues that will cost me. 18k miles, HID lights, Carbon Fiber Akrapovic slip on, frame sliders, bar ends, just little things.

Well if u say everything is good with it then thats a pretty good deal.

I would still take it for a test ride before buying it. Test out all the gears and how the bike performs.

Hello and welcome!

The 2007 model has a known issue with a leaky valve cover gasket, but a dealer should fix it for free if it hasn't already been done.
