zx6 raf 2010
last week my bike died on me when out riding, lost all indication on the dash and the engine cut out. everything ive read suggests its a rectifier regulator fault, I have tried performing various tests on the RR and the stator, and I'm still in the dark as to what the problem is. I'm only getting 12.14v across the battery when the bike is running at 5000rpm, and when I test the stator I am not getting the results I would expect if it was good or bad.
any ideas, advice?
I have only had the bike 2 weeks so still learning my way around it, so I wont be offended if you put in the simplest of terms.
