Getting rid of 600rr's?

Is this true what I hear about them getting rid of 600's?

The Honda CBR600RR is discontinued. Other mfgs have not nixed them yet.

I don't see Yamaha or kawi getting rid of 600's anytime soon. the r6 is like the dime a dozen go to track bike. the zx6r is right behind it.

I read alittle somewhere on it and it kinda blew my mind like a 750 is much more power but then all you got is liter bikes and they got a lot of torch for them to be the same size as 600's

I was under the assumption that Honda only discontinued their production in EURO due to EURO's new regulations and the money it would cost the company to redesign their bike. Honda CBR600RR is no more | MCN

I guess the article is ambiguous. They're not going to be sold new in Europe. It sounded like they were A) not going to redesign the bike ever and B) were planning on ceasing production, although that wasn't explicitly stated in the article.
