Bazzaz ZFI-TC - Rough Shift

Good morning. I ride a 2016 ZX636R with the Bazzaz ZFI-TC with quickshifter installed. When I shift between certain gears when the throttle is cut the shift is very rough and causes the rear wheel to shake. Anyone else had issues with this? It's become rather troublesome especially at lower throttle levels.

The quickshifter is designed to be used only under hard acceleration. It is quite normal for the shift to be difficult if not accelerating hard.

You might want to have a play with the ignition cut values, may improve it. As long as you are accelerating it should work.

For me, the same values that work at high rpm high load work well at very low load, but not moderate load, so I only use it coasting or balls to the wall. For street I just use it to make my way to 6th after I'm already at whatever speed I wanted l.

I had mine set up on the Dyno when I had my bike tuned and it's really smooth...that said my bazzaz unit is on my track bike and the shifting is done at high revs for sure.

I did notice you said certain gears, are you talking about 1-2nd?
