I was wondering if the 07 ZX6R has a helmet lock under the passanger seat? Every time I come to work I see other bikes that have their helmets secure on their passenger seat. :O
its just a little hook. no contraption. Its most likely right under the seat. Anything you see that looks like you can hook something on it is probably it. Just look.
Thanks for the pix. I figured it was those things, but for some reason my helmet wont hook on the left hook. Maybe it will hok on the right one? If not, should I bend it to make it fit it?
is it safe to ride with the helmet locked on the passenger seat? i see people do it all the time. do you guys ride with hemlt locked on the passenger seat ?
I've done it and never had a problem. It's a bitch to swing your leg over, but other than that, just don't ride too close to anything because you'll forget it's back there; I've hit a few cars with my gf's helmet when I was lane splitting to pick her up from work one night :banghead
It's good to carry an extra small or medium helmet so that when you pass that hottie on the side walk you can offer her a ride, and hopefully she'll return the favor
very rare i use that hook, i like taking mine into the air conditioned building with me cools it down. also so no haters be spitting in your lid. Oh and the M.O.M says too never ride with a helmet locked in there anyway.
I do not! Most of my contributions on here are useless and off topic with a few random references to the R6 thrown in. Get it right!
You do raise a good point.
Thats because all of my most recent parts acquisitions have been for the Non-Kawi bike in my garage... the other woman.
EDIT: Besides... they aren't NEARLY as chatty of a bunch over there.
