:rant Hi Dude! so far I am enjoying my ZX6R-06 and no minor complaint about the bike. My personal opinion in buying a second hand bike try to check the following:
1. fairings - check inside the fairings whether repaired and repainted because there is a possibility that the felled down.
2. Check first a bike with the same age and model particular all stock parts, all original paint then compare to the unit you are buying.
I am not so sure if there is a thread serving as reminders in buying a used bike. Basically since 2006 model is a very young model and knowing the performance of Kawi - I think you will not encounter problems or perhaps only minor. NOT UNLESS, there is really hidden defects of the unit you are buying. Try to ask the help of an expert mechanic to inspect the bike before having final decision. Hope this helps!!!
